This is one way to do what u need
<xsl:template match="BaseItemDetail">
<xsl:variable name="test1" select="Quantity/Qty/text()"/>
<xsl:variable name="test2"
select="BuyerExpectedUnitPrice/Price/UnitPrice/text()"/>
<xsl:value-of select="$test1 * $test2"/>
</xsl:template>
