Thanks John & Dan for the input, looks like I'll be taking the microscope to
the XPath spec to find the one golden nugget of information I need.
Writing the path out as a node in the XML is not really an option as our XML
is messy enough as it is.
Eventually this idea of mine will not work as we should be abstracting the
XML data into tiered layers for raw data, localisation and layout so the
final (buggy) output will not just come from one XSL document.
Will be damn useful while it does work though :-)
[ XPath, XPath... Must be somewhere in there...?]
