Annoying as it is, it is standards compliant. Perhaps the best advice, and
I don't mean to offend anyone, would be for the original poster to spell
their name and write their subject in English, using ASCII characters.

I'm guessing Mike Kay's suggestion would be for all of us to get smarter,
Unicode-aware mail readers :)
