It's not clear to me what you want to do. Are you asking how to have an
XSL stylesheet access URL parameters? If so, the only way is via ASP:
Have the ASP ouput some XML containing the data, and then let the client
transform this with your stylesheet (using XML data islands):
ASP-page:
<xml>
<menu><%= request("menu")%></menu>
</xml>
Then your XSL stylesheet can use something like:
<xsl:template match="menu">
<A>
<xsl:attribute name="HREF">
default.asp?menu=<xsl:value-of />
</xsl:attribute>
</xsl:template>
