Thanks for the info. I tried inserting an image file into an existing XML
file as given by you. But it doesnt work either. Can u pl help.

You can just do:
<img src="file://H:/xml/test/disp_jsr_banner_gif" />
In this case you don't have to worry about using the
<xsl:attribute> command.
