Paula,
Check out http://xml.apache.org/xalan/extensions.html#supported-lang there
is a simple, step-by-step example of how to add java script extensions to
your xsl under XALAN.

Subject: Including JavaScript
Hello
How can I include a javascript file in xsl files if I use Xalan?
The usual is:
<script language="JavaScript" src="include/validate.js">
But with Xalan didn't work.
I've got the error "object expected".
Thanks
Paula
