the syntax of the data scheme (which is supported by netscape but not
IE)

is data: <mime type> , <data>

with mime type defaulting to text/plain

compare

data:,<h1>hello</h1>

and

data:text/html,<h1>hello</h1>

in netscape

the scheme is defined in one of the URI rfcs, now i wonder if
I can find which one... google to the rescue...
