Are you structuring your own XML?
If so, why don't you make it easier for you and wrap the "News" text in its
own node.
(<name>News</name>)
It seems less extensable to be dependent on text being in a certain order to
be selected in the way it is now.

Subject: [xsl] Accessing text from node
Hi All,
One More help from the xsl list.
<choice name="news" key="type">
<action type="soft1" label="CBSMW" ></action>
<action type="accept" label="Go" ></action>
News
<ce value="rt.asp">RealTime Headlines</ce>
<ce value="mp.asp">MarketPulse</ce>
<ce value="tn.asp">Ticker News</ce>
</choice>
>From this node to access text "News" if I use <xsl:value-of
select="text()[count(action)+1]"/> This does not give me text "News". If I
use digit 3 like this:
<xsl:value-of select="text()[3]"/> This gives me text "News".Now if I count
action nodes and add one (why to add this one is a blackbox to me but it
works if I add this to action count)
Please advice how to access this text.
Yogesh.
