Hi,
I am having trouble understanding the order in which the elements appear (in
the node-set) when xslt is used to transform xml data into a table.
If I have code like this:
<transactions>
<transaction>
<date>04/02/01</date>
<long></long>
<short></short>
<description>CLR BL99</description>
<priceCode>CLR</priceCode>
<amount>122.50</amount>
</transaction>
more transactions here....
and I transform it like this....
<xsl:template name="pagetable">
<table>
<caption</caption>
<xsl:for-each select="transactions/transaction">
<tr><td> blah blah.....
Do these appear in document order, one transaction at a time? Does the fact
that it is a table make a difference?
I need to be able to get at these transactions in hunks, here and there, so
I am trying to understand this better.
Thank you! Tamre
