Re: keys and idrefs - XSLT2 request?


Note that the XML Schema REC defines a level of conformance which does 
_not_ require any knowledge about the XML representation of schemas in 
schema documents, so conformant processors don't necessarily have to
do all the work involved in that (about 2/3rds of my XML Schema
processor).

I would certainly favour making it clearer in a subsequent W3C XML
Schema version just how little you can get away with and still be
conformant, which is presumably precisely what an XSLT 2.0 implementor
would want to hear.
