In general, it's a good idea to start with:
<fo:list-item-label end-indent="label-end()">
...
</fo:list-item-label>
<fo:list-item-body start-indent="body-start()">
...
</fo:list-item-body>
So you are sure that the label and the body are laid out side by side.
Usual caveats about FOP apply.
