Normally <xsl:eval>expression</xsl:eval> is replaced by <xsl:value-of
select="expression"/>; but in most cases the expression needs changing as
well. I don't know exactly what childNumber(this) does in WD-xsl, but
position() will probably work, depending on the context.
Note also you don't usually need to use <xsl:attribute> in XSLT: look up
"attribute value templates".
