There's a brand new book out from O'Reilly on XSL:FO by Dave Pawson (a
regular contributor to this list).
I haven't had a look at it yet, but will do next time I'm in a PC
bookshop. As far as I know this is the first title to come out to
exclusively cover FO, rather than just a chapter or two in a more
general book about XML. I imagine that it is well worth an
investigation.
Failing that, you could always have a browse through the XSL spec at the
W3C (though this is definitely the heavy duty option) :-)
