[xsl] RE: Search Engine

Thanks for your reply. My question, however, was not very well phrased!
What I need is something to check the text contents of all of the child
nodes of <elemB>,however many there may be, for whole or partial occurrences
of the searchstring.
So, in the structure below, I might want to search for all occurrences of
'Door' in elemC, elemD and any other child nodes of elemB (and in any child
nodes of elemC etc.). I also want the search to ignore case sensitivity, and
to look for partial as well as exact matches of the searchstring eg 'hou'
will pick up 'House'.

<elemA>
    <elemB>
        <elemC>House</elemC>
        <elemD>Door</elemD>
        etc...
   </elemB>
   <elemB> 
        <elemC>Flat</elemC>
        <elemD>Door</elemD>
        etc...
   </elemB>
   etc...
</elemA>


 I may not know in advance what the child nodes are called or how numerous
they are, and they  may contain multiple levels of nesting. Is there a
straightforward method of processing the various child nodes of each
<elemB>?

do you mean the text of elemC contains the string or equals it (I'll
assume the latter below)
