Gperf is a perfect hash function generator written in C++. Simply
stated, a perfect hash function is a hash function and a data
structure that allows recognition of a key word in a set of words
using exactly one probe into the data structure.

Build instructions:
unpack gperf-3.0.4-2-src.tar.xz
if you use setup to install this src package, it will be
unpacked under /usr/src automatically
cd /usr/src
cygport gperf.cygport all
This will create:
/usr/src/gperf-3.0.4-2.tar.xz
/usr/src/gperf-3.0.4-2-src.tar.xz
/usr/src/gperf-debuginfo-3.0.4-2.tar.xz
Or use 'cygport gperf.cygport prep' to get a patched source directory
To find out the files included in the binary distribution, you can use
"cygcheck -l gperf", or browse the listing for the appropriate
version at .
