mcrypt

MCrypt is a replacement for the old crypt() package and crypt(1) command, with extensions.
It allows developers to use a wide range of encryption functions, without making drastic changes
to their code. It allows users to encrypt files or data streams without having to be cryptographers.

Build instructions:
  unpack mcrypt-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>-src.tar.bz2
    if you use setup to install this src package, it will be
 unpacked under /usr/src automatically
  cd /usr/src
  cygport mcrypt.cygport all

This will create:
  /usr/src/mcrypt-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>-src.tar.bz2
  /usr/src/mcrypt-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>.tar.bz2
  /usr/src/mcrypt-debuginfo-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>.tar.bz2

Or use 'cygport mcrypt.cygport prep' to get a patched source directory

To find out the files included in the binary distribution, you can
use "cygcheck -l mcrypt mcrypt-debuginfo", or browse the listing
for the appropriate version at <http://cygwin.com/packages/>.
