Re: Question about gcc-mingw package renaming

Hmmm, I see. Ok, after thinking a while, another question came to my
mind. Currently, installing the gcc package pulls gcc-mingw via the
setup.hint requires: line, so if it is installed implicit, the name
isn't important at all and as Christopher suggested it will remain
like it was before. Actually gcc-mingw doesn't work as a standalone
compiler, it requires the gcc package. The package will be splitted
into the core (no name change here) and frontends (several new
packages: gcc-ada, gcc-java, gcc-g++, ...).
