Re: Problems with cygport 2.8-1?
Well, try applying the patch manually and see if there are any .rej hunks
left over afterward. If there are, cygport has correctly reported a problem
with the patch. If there aren't, cygport has a bug.
Running the patch manually worked fine:
ironhead@EUSD002605 /usr/src/astyle/astyle-1.20-1/src
$ patch -p0 < astyle-1.20-1.cygwin.patch
patching file astyle/src/CYGWIN-PATCHES/astyle.README
patching file astyle/src/CYGWIN-PATCHES/setup.hint
ironhead@EUSD002605 /usr/src/astyle/astyle-1.20-1/src
$ ls -ltr astyle/src/CYGWIN-PATCHES
total 5.0K
-rw-r--r-- 1 ironhead None 990 Jan 19 10:13 astyle.README
-rw-r--r-- 1 ironhead None 225 Jan 19 10:13 setup.hint
So I'm guessing there is something wrong with cygport 2.8.
