  Yes, but we haven't actually made that release yet, so I don't see why not
to bung in a couple of user feature requests while I'm working on it.

  Also, as before, I intend to develop the work on HEAD and backport it to
the branch.

  No action is required on your part and trunk will not languish because of
this.
