Never mind, I didn't have ntsec turned on.  Never the less, there are
problems with ntsec turned off.  If I run bash and then try to run "ls
-l", I get:

0   0 [main] E:\bash.exe 1001 hinfo::fixup_after_fork: unable to
contact parent process
ls: Memory exhausted
