Chown and "\" "/"

Could someone please let me know how to handle CHOWN on Gnuwin32?
For example:

> bash$ ls -al
> drwxr-xr-x 9 0 everyone 0 Jun 12 09:12 .
> drwxr-xr-x 5 0 everyone 0 Jan 01 1970 ..
> drwxr-xr-x 28 0 everyone 0 Jun 12 09:12 bin
> drwxr-xr-x 7 0 everyone 0 Jul 22 07:45 man
> drwxr-xr-x 5 0 everyone 0 Jul 22 08:22 share
> bash$ whoami
> whoami: cannot find username for UID 500
> bash$ chown Administrator *
> chown: Administrator: invalid user

And another question - I am trying to compile a UNIX application
using Gnuwin32. This application (when starting make) invokes another
application, which is a native Win32 application (it uses backslashes
for directory syntax). Of course, make (run from bash) changes
backslashes to slashes and native Win32 application can not find
the heap file it needs... Any ideas how to marry command.com and
bash in this case?

Thank you in advance.
