Sorry for following up this late (I was on vacation, and have been
slow in reading the accumulated mail). Unless you are sure you really
do want glib and gtk+ running on cygwin (and with X11 windowing,
presumably), you could use the existing "native" (doesn't use cygwin,
uses msvcrt, gtk+ runs on Win32 GDI) port. See
