[ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: sh-utils-2.0-1

I've made a new version of sh-utils available for download. This
version is an update to the latest version available at ftp.gnu.org.

Since this is the first time that I've built this package there is a
possibility that I may have missed something. Simple tests seem
to indicate that everything is ok, though.

One caveat -- this package used to be named "shellutils" on
sources.redhat.com. I renamed it so that it matched the package name on
ftp.gnu.org.

The problem with doing this is that when you update to the new sh-utils
package, setup will think that you still have an old shellutils package
on your computer. This will result in a few files sticking around that
should have been deleted.

As far as I can tell, the unwanted files are:

/usr/bin/false, /usr/bin/true /usr/info/sh-utils.info-*

If you delete these files you shouldn't have anything extra on your
disk with the exception of the extra "shellutils" line in
/etc/setup/installed.db. If you are ambitious, you can edit that
file and remove the shellutils line.

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system.

Run setup and answer all of the questions. We have recently stopped
downloads from sources.redhat.com (aka cygwin.com) due to bandwidth
limitations. This means that you will need to find a mirror which has
this update.

In the US,
ftp://mirrors.rcn.net/sources.redhat.com/cygwin/
is a reliable high bandwidth connection.

In Germany,
ftp://ftp.franken.de/pub/win32/develop/gnuwin32/cygwin/mirrors/cygnus/
is usually pretty good.

In the UK,
http://programming.ccp14.ac.uk/ftp-mirror/programming/cygwin/pub/cygwin/
is usually up-to-date within 48 hours.

The setup.exe program will figure out what needs to be updated on your
system and will install newer packages automatically.

If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin
mailing list at: cygwin@cygwin.com . I would appreciate if you would
use this mailing list rather than emailing me directly. This includes
ideas and comments about the setup utility or Cygwin in general.

If you want to make a point or ask a question, the Cygwin mailing list
is the appropriate place.
