Hi Corinna,
I could see the following if I start my cygwin window.
/cygdrive/c/graman >echo $USER
graman
/cygdrive/c/graman >echo $HOME
/cygdrive/c/graman
/cygdrive/c/graman >id
uid=1001(graman) gid=545(Users) groups=545(Users)
/cygdrive/c/graman >rsh queen -l qa "ls"
queen.ddi.com: permission denied
/cygdrive/c/graman >uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-4.0 GRAMAN 1.1.8(0.34/3/2) 2001-01-31 10:08 i686 unknown
/cygdrive/c/graman >
Let me know what needs to be modified in /etc/passwd. Orelse what
could be the reason?
