Hello from the year 2002!
When, we reach, at some point in the distant future, cygwin version 220.127.116.11,
I will try to make sure that I remember this problem. Or, possibly, I will
leave some provision in my will for my heirs and cygwin successors.
Luckily, it works just fine now, however. Phew.
