Thank you.  One would have to wonder why this is such an incredibly hard
concept for so many people to comprehend.

Note that the XFree86 binaries have their own license.

In general, if you are going to be using someone else's code you should
familiarize yourself thoroughly with the licensing of said code.  That's
just good sense.  I wouldn't recommend just listening to the email
voices, even mine (the head of the cygwin project, if not the
cygwin/xfree project).  It really really pays to understand what you're
doing so that you can confidently use the software and know what you're
getting into.
