Jim,

If you install the two versions as two different users and are willing to
switch users whenever you want to switch the versions, you may not have to
do the above as long as the user mounts are set up correctly.  Just make
sure you don't have the two versions of cygwin1.dll loaded at the same
time (e.g., don't run any services).
