[ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: octave-3.0.3 and octave-forge-20080831


New versions of 

octave / octave-devel / octave-doc

3.0.3-1 for cygwin-1.5
3.0.3-2 for cygwin-1.7

and octave-forge

20080831-3  for cygwin-1.5
20080831-4  for cygwin-1.7

are available in the Cygwin distribution: 

These are new upstream versions 
compiled with gcc-4.3.2

The GNU Octave language for numerical computations
Octave is a (mostly Matlab (R) compatible) 
high-level language, primarily intended for 
numerical computations.  It provides a convenient
command-line interface for solving linear and
nonlinear problems numerically.

To update your installation, click on the "Install
Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. 
This downloads setup.exe to your system.  Then, run
setup and answer all of the questions.
