Same error at mine (as reported earlier):

"$1": ':[0-9][0-9]*$' > /dev/null 2>&1
Indeed, expr dumps core in a reproducible way:
~> expr aaa : 'a\+'
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
rebaseall and peflagsall run.
