Same error at mine (as reported earlier):

      3 [main] expr 8032 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Error while dumping
state (probably corrupted stack)
/usr/bin/startx: line 40:  8032 Segmentation fault      (core dumped) expr
"$1": ':[0-9][0-9]*$' > /dev/null 2>&1

Indeed, expr dumps core in a reproducible way:

~> expr aaa : 'a\+'
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

rebaseall and peflagsall run.
