You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.
$ ls -l cygwin-inst-20110215.tar.bz2
-rw-------+ 1 Marco Domain_Users 2688345 Feb 17 17:40
cygwin-inst-20110215.tar.bz2
$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1.7.8s(0.236/5/3) 20110215 17:49:59 i686 Cygwin
