This works fine for me. Are you sure you have nano installed? What's the
result of running `which nano`?
$ which.exe nano
The way I set the EDITOR var to nano is:
And if i type "EDITOR" nano editor is opened. But when I run crontab -e
I get the crontab edited by vi(m) again.
