If mintty could be able to support fallback fonts, it would be favourite.

It's wonderfull. Both Courier New and DejaVu works. I tried DejaVu
Sans Mono. But it's a little longer in height than  Lucida Console.

My 1920*1080 resolution screen, maximize window.
DejaVu Sans Mono     138*38
Lucida Console           135*43

It takes time to adapt.
