My confusion came from the fact that on FreeBSD this interface is detected 
and configured as a "vr0" which is, in the config file, Rhine or Rhine II. 
(Perhaps it is a Rhine II). I'm looking over the docs on the southbridge to 
see how it differs from the code in the repository now.
