I've just updated the version of exuberant ctags to 5.5-3

There are numerous changes since 5.2 including many bug fixes, 
highlights are:

* Removed explicit descriptions of individual ---types options from
--help output. See new --list-languages and --list-kinds options.
* Removed explicit list of supported languages and supported tag kinds 
mapping patterns from man page. See new --list-languages, --list-
kinds, and
--list-maps options.
* Added support for C# language.
* Added support for Erlang language, contributed by Brent Fulgham.
* Added support for HTML language files.
* Added support for JavaScript language files.
* Added support for SML (Standard ML) language, contributed by 
* Added support for numerous language extensions [Fortran].
* Added support for PL/SQL language.
* Added support for Vera language, inspired by Dave Eggum [Vera].
* Improved Cobol support to include data, files, groups, and sections 
* Added support for Verilog language, submitted by Nam SungHyun.

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system. Once you've downloaded setup.exe, run it and select "Devel" and
then click on the appropriate field until the above announced version
number appears if it is not displayed already.
