The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

LLD is a linker from the LLVM project that is a drop-in replacement for
system linkers and runs much faster than them. It also provides features
that are useful for toolchain developers.

Note that there are still some issues to be worked out using lld to link
Cygwin binaries, but it is useful for cross-compilation purposes
(including MinGW targets).
