New versions of rpm & the other new testversions

Hi!

Thanks for the feedback on rpm I received till now. I will create a
new version of rpm (which includes automatic stripping of executeables
like the unix version) in roughly two weeks.

I will be out of town for the next two weeks and will not be able to
answer my mail. I hape that after my return the applications will soon
be ready for prime-time
