setup.exe & mod_php4

hi list:

There are two problems in the cygwin distribution associated with apache and mod_php4.

#1, setup.exe doesn't install mod_php4, even so setup.exe can download this module from internet to local hard drive.

#2 after manually unpack the mod_php4 package and put every pieces of the package into the right directory tree of cygwin, there is a postinstallation script that fails to run succesfully. apache can't start.

the setup.exe is a long standing issue for well over a year now, i wish the cygwin maintaner can fix it ASAP. 

The suggestion of solution to the second problem 
is also welcomed. PHP-4.3 has been out for a while now, it doesn't compile out of box. If given the --disble-xml configuration flag, it compiles nicely. It would also be nice to hear news from the apache package maintainer on the porting.
