Or even more simply:
Get a list of all the log files that exist and their levels, so we tell
the user:
see these logs:
<path>|description : level of detail
<path>|description : level of detail

i.e. one might get
===
c:\cygwin\var\log\setup.log.full : high
c:\cygwin\var\log\setup.log      : Low
Windows Event Log		 : Low
===
