Hallo Jason, Nicholas,

I've a db3 package ready, built with cygwin-1.5.

I'm still fiddeling with the 'automatic' build since libtool
fails, it says it cannot link the libdb_cxx with libstdc++
because it is not a shared library, sigh.  I updated the
included libtool to 1.5 and try to rebuild now.  Anyway,
the first build was successfull, though I needed to invoke
gcc manually to get the libdb_cxx as shared lib.

You may fetch a copy to test it, i.e. Jason for Python.
I'm already trying to build Perl with this library.

Because I don't want to wait until Charles has finished
libgdbm3 I compiled this also so I can test a full Perl build.

I have compiled also a new version of libcrypt, but I don't
know which packages are using it (besides Perl).
