This is NOT to be confused with today's non-test release of 
tiff-3.6.0-2, libtiff3-3.6.0-2, and libtiff-devel-3.6.0-2.  The new, 
curr: release has 'cygtiff3.dll' while the new test: release
has cygtiff4.dll.

BTW, maintainers: note that this means that your dependencies, after you 
recompile for 1.5.0, will be "libtiff4" not "tiff".  (I've already taken 
the liberty of updating the setup.hint files in accordance with today's 
*official* release, changing setup.hints from 'tiff' to 'libtiff3' (3 
for the official release; later you'll need to change it to 4 for the 
1.5.0 release.  This affects emacs-X11, WindowMaker, and tetex-bin)

There is one other change in this test release:

* updated to the tiff-v3.6.0beta2 release
