Did that. Both grace 5.1.12 and 5.1.14 (new build versions) still crash.

gdb says:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x10032103 in cygX11-6!XGetGCValues () from /usr/X11R6/bin/cygX11-6.dll

Backtrace looks like Roberts.
