More probably you only noticed it twice, as kinda all my messages
contain that since when I put that prefix to mailing lists in my address
book some 2 years ago...

Mozilla seems to think it is... i'll search or commit a bug in bugzilla,
I guess. (well, I guess bug #196868 already covers that)

I guess I wrote "cygwin-a", supposing it would be auto-completed as
"cygwin-announcement" and didn't notice the different selection.

Sometimes I have fear of my errors, let's hope I won't ever be in
control of a nuclear plant, at least ;-)

Yes, it seems to be RFC822 (didn't check but it's wrote in a coment on
the mozilla bug #196868).
