I think this script should also look for /usr/bin/libtool and 
/usr/share/apr/build-1/libtool and fix sys_lib_search_path_spec= there 
as well.  This would save rebuilding these with every gcc version bump.

(/usr/lib/R/bin/libtool and /usr/lib/rep/i686-pc-cygwin/libtool would 
also be affected, but R and librep are from Ports and are not distro 
packages.)
