My bad, will repost to cygwin as you suggest, but just for future 
reference: that leaves only cygport-specific stuff and setup.exe as 
on-topic here?

I have some odds-and-ends in my tree that I really ought to be sharing, 
but to do so it'd obviously help if I fully groked c.c/lists.html.
