cygport autogen.sh gives DOS line ending errors

Yes.

/tmp> which git
/usr/bin/git

/tmp> git --version
git version 2.1.1

I actually did have a Window git installed, although it wasn't on the PATH.
But to be sure, I removed it and tried again, with the same result.
