Questions on package adoption conventions

Put this into your global .gitconfig:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
[url "git://sourceware.org/git/"]
        InsteadOf = cygwin:
[url "ssh://sourceware.org/git/"]
        pushInsteadOf = cygwin:
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

and then specify the remote as cygwin:cygwin-cygutils.git (the .git
suffix might be redundant, actually).
