Oops - sorry.  I was out of town for a week and didn't get a chance to 
check until yesterday and hadn't seen anything.  I thought I was 
subscribed to cygwin-patches but I guess I wasn't.  I have just tried 
subscribing again. 

I will send the requested revised diff again this evening.
