Bash/configure (/tmp) thanks

I want to thank all the folks who took the time to answer what I
gather is a common question on this list.

Perhaps someone who maintains the Cygnus ftp site could update the
README.txt file to include a statement to the effect that you need to
create a /tmp file if you wish to build the development tools.
