vsnprintf, etc, etc.

[Hmmmz]

I just noticed that ther are libio (for C++) header files and a
vsnprintf.c file for libio but no libio and when I tried to compile a
program that uses vsnprintf it bombed out, ditto with snprintf (however
snprintf could probabl be emulated easily).
