bash and .bat files

Hi, 
I'd like to run some .bat files from the bash shell (on a win95 box), but 
bash does not seem to support this on my computer. May there be something 
wrong with my bash - configuration ? Does somebody else have this problem
or does somebody know a solution to it ?
